And to think, I expected today’s update to be delayed because my tablet is dying, and I ended up with a COMPLETELY different delay. Sorry for the unfinished page, but I’m wrestling with a nasty spyware/virus problem right now (that awful “Antivirus” program, if any of you are familiar). I’m expecting to get the full page up by tonight, though! Here’s to hoping! Sorry about that! Full page up now! <:)

I know exactly what virus you are talking about. I had it on my computer a while back but it mysteriously went away on its own. Anyways, I must say I’m loving Xan’s face in this page. he and Rio are just too cute for words. :)

I absolutely HATE that “anti-virus-virus!” Those things are so easy to pick up! Depending on which virus is bugging you, you might try to download Malwarebytes if you haven’t already. It’s a funny name, but it works wonders in removing a lot of crazy stuff on computers. And it’s free.

Oh my gosh that Antivirus thing is so freaking awful. It completely screwed up my last computer! >_<
By the way I love Xan's face! He looks so worried :3 It's his own fault for leaving like that! XP

I agree with Aywren. My computer got that anti-virus-virus a while ago, and Malwarebytes helped get rid of it. If it’s the virus I think it is, it’s called ‘SoftCop’.
Great comic, btw. I hope Rio gets better :(

Yes, I know this Virus very well – be carefull, it’s not easy to get away! Even if it seems to be gone, it will reload itself after some days… Oh man, I just hope that Rio is okay… (I really love Xan, his expressions are always hilarious! Please, keep up this wonderful work!)

I dunno, the difference in how this page is drawn, to me, seems like it would be deliberate to help reflect Xan’s shock.

I was looking up name meanings for a short story, and i happened upon the meanings of Kari and Aiden. I found that Kari meant pure, and Aiden meant fire. Coincidence?

Lunar: I bet you won’t believe me, but it actually was a coincidence! I looked it up one day and freaked the hell OUT, though!
Kari’s name was originally meant to have a meaning- when I first created her, back when I was 14 or so, her name was Hikari (Japanese for “light”), but when I decided there wasn’t really a place for Japanese-named characters in Lavelle I just shortened it to Kari.
Aiden didn’t exist back in those days, so as far as I recall, I just picked it because I liked the name. I looked it up a long while back when I was still trying to nail the name, and I’m pretty sure after that I had no choice but to use it!
